Commissions & Terms of Servicethank you for your interest in commissions! please below for my guidelines:if you would like to request a commission, please submit and read through my terms of service linked here.general terms:
- Prices are subject to change based on demand.
-I have the right to decline or reject commissions for any reason.
payment:
- All prices are in US dollars ($ USD).
- Preferred payment is through PayPal, although may accept other payment options based on discussion on a case-by-case basis.
- Payment is 100% upfront, or 50% upfront/50% after sketch approval.
- No refunds unless otherwise discussed or cancelled on my end – refunds after cancellations will be determined on progress, and on a case-by-case basis. Any cancellations initiated by the customer after payment will not be refunded.
-- If you perform an unauthorized chargeback at any point, you will lose all rights to the commissioned artwork; the payment channels will be notified of our contract and terms of service; and you will be blacklisted from any future commissions.
-Prices listed are for private/non-commercial work, and may not be resold/redistributed (i.e., commercial media, merch, NFTs, etc.), although they may be used and reuploaded as often as desired for personal use only (i.e., social media icons, personal non-redistributable prints, reference for redesigns, etc.).
Copyright & Usage
a. I (the artist):
i. Retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork (i.e., I am credited as the source for the piece, do not claim as your own).
ii. Will NOT claim the intellectual property of the commissioned artwork (i.e., the characters/direction are still yours, etc.),
iii. Reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio, or in publications, such as art books.
b. You (the customer):
i. Retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).
ii. May upload the commissioned artwork on any website or social channels.
iii. May NOT make profits from the commissioned artwork (reselling/redistributing, commercial media, merch, NFTs, etc.) and may not use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes.
iv. May NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist’s) consent.
v. May NOT claim the commissioned artwork as your own.
IV. Process & Delivery
a. The time to finish a commission may vary from 2 weeks-3 months, depending on factors such as health, complexity, or any additional personal reasons.
i. I will aim to provide an update minimum weekly, but processes may be delayed due the reasons listed above. If there is any possible delay, I will work to inform you.
ii. Please notify if there is a specific deadline in advance. Depending on complexity and expedited processes, there may be additional fees.
b. Once I accept the commission, I will send a payment request, based on the payment plans listed previously.
c. Once the payment is received, I will start working on the piece. Updates will be shown for an initial sketch/lineart, initial color, and fully rendered color as applicable. Changes/retouches may be requested by the customer during these stages within reason. Additional fees may apply depending on volume and complexity of changes, and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
d. Once completed, I will send a digital-only, full-resolution image file to a location of your choice (email, link transfer, etc.)
